MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEETS  
C.1 General Provisions 
C.1.1 All workplaces must have an MSDS for each one of the hazardous chemical substances handled and be permanently available for the workers involved in their use so that they have immediately have access to  information for implementing preventive and corrective measures in the work place.  
C.1.2 The MSDS must be in the Spanish language. The format is free and must include, in order, at least the information established in Appendix C.  
C.1.3 The information must be reliable, so that its normal use, supplies adequate attention for caring for human life and health or for controlling an emergency.  
C.1.4 Spaces must not be left blank.  If the required information is not applicable or is not available, the abbreviations NA (not applicable) or ND (not available) will be noted, respectively, whichever is applicable, and the reference source or sources utilized in the preparation must be noted at the end of the MSDS.
C.1.5 The MSDS must be updated when  new data exists with respect to hazardous chemical substances.  
C.2 Contents of the MSDS.  
C.2.1 Title: Material Safety Data Sheet.  MSDS and the name of the substance. The name of the substance must appear, in the upper right corner, on every page of the MSDS.
